Emerald Coast Mushrooms is a local mushroom farm based near Freeport, Florida, serving Northwest Florida and Lower Alabama. We grow fresh, whole, unprocessed gourmet mushrooms indoors in a clean, controlled environment, with a focus on quality, consistency, and flavor.
As we prepare to begin production, we’re taking a thoughtful, community-led approach. We’re currently speaking with home cooks, restaurants, and grocery stores to better understand which mushroom varieties are most desired and how much is needed on a regular basis. This allows us to plan responsibly, reduce waste, and grow with intention.
Our core focus includes blue oyster, lion’s mane, chestnut, and trumpet (king oyster) mushrooms, with additional varieties offered occasionally or by request when there is interest and commitment for weekly or monthly quantities.
We will also be offering subscription plans, giving subscribers priority access to mushrooms before any are offered to non-subscribers.
Our approach is simple and intentional:

Offered only as fresh, whole, unprocessed mushrooms
No slicing, drying, powders, or value-added products
Quality and freshness always come first
By focusing solely on whole, fresh mushrooms, we’re able to put all of our attention into growing the highest-quality product possible.
